Our Process
During our sharpening process, we go through the following steps to ensure consistent results:
- Disassemble
- We disassemble your clipper blades.
- Clean
- We completely clean your blades before sharpening them. This allows us to observe any damage.
- Resharpen
- This step is why we created our clipper blade sharpening service. After disassembling and cleaning your blade, we’ll resharpen them to factory settings.
- Demagnetize
- Sharpening your blades creates a lot of magnetism. That’s why our professional clipper blade sharpening team demagnetizes each blade.
- Clean
- We clean all blades in simple green to remove any impurities in an ultrasonic cleaner. We then clean with alcohol to sterilize the metal.
- Assemble
- We assemble all the pieces of your clipper blades back together again, and also use a superior lubricating oil before assembling your blades.
- Test
- We test your blades three different ways to ensure maximum efficiency. If your blades don’t pass this test, we repeat our previous steps until we know that you’ll be completely satisfied with our sharpening service.
- Sent Back
- We place your sharpened blades in a Ziploc bag and package them up nicely to send back to you. The Ziploc bags shields out any moisture.
